Merchandise Mart Mounting a Spring Edition of its Popular One of a Kind Show
After 15 years of bringing unique, handmade work to Chicago for the holiday season, the One of a Kind Show will launch the One of a Kind Spring Show, April 29- May 1 at The Mart (222 W. Merchandise Mart Plaza). The spring show, with more than 300 juried artists from North America, will offer unique, handmade pieces in various categories including accessories, bath and body, ceramics, fashion, fiber art, furniture and glass. In addition to the unique shopping opportunities the show presents, guests will enjoy gourmet food, live music and exciting new spring-oriented programming and have the opportunity to speak directly with the artists, all of whom will be on-site during the 3-day show.
Says, Lisa Simonian, vice president of marketing for the Mart, “The spring show expands our commitment to providing Chicagoans with extraordinary shopping experiences. Shoppers and artists alike have been clamoring for a One of a Kind Show at another time of the year.” Shoppers who wish to preview this year’s work can browse online at oneofakindshowchicago.com/spring and plot out their visit in advance. Coat and package check is available as well as an onsite shipping service for shoppers wishing to send packages directly to their friends and family.
