Shhh...It's Trivia Night for Supporters of Auditorium Theatre Initiave Touching Young Hearts Through Art

Ready to test your knowledge of everything from history to pop culture and support a truly heart warming program presented by a prized Chicago cultural treasure? Here’s your chance. The Auditorium Theatre Auxiliary Board  is hosting its annual fundraiser Shhh…It’s Trivia Night, Wednesday, May 25 at 5:30 p.m. in the Murray-Green Library at Roosevelt University (430 S. Michigan Ave -10th Floor). Attendees will laugh out loud with special guest emcees, The Q Brothers, while testing their range of knowledge on a variety of topics.

The event supports the Auditorium Theatre’s annual summer arts camp, Hands Together, Heart to Art, for children who have experienced the death of a parent.

“In just three years, the Trivia Night fundraiser has become a can’t-miss event in Chicago, and this year will be better than ever,” said Auditorium Theatre Auxiliary Board Chair Dillon Goodson. “We moved the event to Roosevelt University’s Murray-Green Library, so we could be in another iconic location in the historic Auditorium Building, as well as allow for more players. Moreover, Hands Together, Heart to Art is a program that touches everyone’s heart, so we’re excited to host an event where people will have a good time in a cool space while supporting a great cause.”

Prizes will be awarded to the three highest-scoring teams, and guests can purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win a variety of more brag-worthy prizes.

The Auditorium Theatre Auxiliary Board is a diverse group of young professionals committed to furthering the mission of the Auditorium Theatre. The Board is devoted to raising awareness and generating support for the Auditorium’s educational and outreach efforts, as well as world-renowned programming, while helping to fund the restoration and preservation of the National Historic Landmark Auditorium Theatre.

​Hands Together, Heart to Art brings together children between the ages of 7 and 14, who have experienced the death of a parent, to celebrate the healing power of creative play. Through the exploration and creation of dance, theater, and music, the camp encourages communication and collaboration, fosters emotional growth, and provides the consolation of friendship and compassion.
