Chicago stage veteran E. Faye Butler to headline a new cabaret series at Drury Lane Theatre where the actress starred in many acclaimed productions over the past decade.

This summer, Lane Theatre will premiere The Cabaret Room at Drury Lane with Leading Ladies of Chicago Theatre, a two-night event that gives audiences exclusive access to some of Chicago's top talent in an intimate setting.
The Leading Ladies of Chicago Theatre cabaret series includes award winning actress Chicago stage staple E. Faye Butler, known for her vibrant stage roles in Pullman Porter Blues, Crowns, and Purlie (Goodman Theatre), Crumbs from the Table of Joy (Steppenwolf Theatre Company) and Seussical! (Chicago Shakespeare Theater); Northwestern alum Heidi Kettenring, who starred in Wicked (Broadway In Chicago), The Diary of Anne Frank and She Loves Me (Writers' Theatre); Christine Mild, whose credits include Company (Writers’ Theatre), Cats and Les Miserables (Marriott Theatre); Meghan Murphy, who starred in Hazel at Drury Lane; and Leryn Turlington of Bye Bye Birdie, also at Drury Lane. Jeremy Kahn will be featured as accompanist, and Broadway veteran Roberta Duchak has been tapped as musical director.
The series will offer a special menu featuring shareable plates, cocktails, and a wide selection of wines. Tickets range from $25-$45 with a $25 food and beverage minimum. E. Faye Butler, Roberta Duchak, and Heidi Kettenring take the stage on August 12, 2016, at 6:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Christine Mild, Meghan Murphy, and Leryn Turlington perform on August 14, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. All cabaret performances take place in The English Room at Drury Lane.
