The 14th annual One of a Kind Show and Sale  Chicago returns to the Merchandise December 4 – 7 with a new year of unique and skillfully handcrafted goods, offering shoppers thousands of one-of-a-kind holiday gift options. More than 600 juried artists – 200 new at this year’s show – from across North America will showcase imaginative, handmade creations at this year’s event. The shopping experience will be enhanced with activities throughout the show including: live musical performances, special demonstrations from exhibiting artists, fashion shows featuring artist designed apparel and delectables at gourmet café spots.

The annual One of a Kind Show Chicago offers shoppers a refreshing alternative to the traditional retail experience and a source for unique holiday gifts and finds. Beyond purchasing artist-made work, shoppers also have the opportunity to meet each artist and learn about their creative processes, techniques and inspirations.

The show features a vast array of media at a wide range of price points, making it attractive and accessible for a wide range of shoppers. Mediums and categories of work at the show include: accessories, ceramics, fashion, fiber art, furniture, glass, gourmet, holiday, jewelry, kids, metal, mixed media, painting, paper, photography, sculpture and wood. Price points range from $10 to $10,000.

This year, the One of a Kind Show Chicago will feature a Fine Art Gallery on the show floor, a juried exhibition of fine art and sculpture pieces from the show, as well as an expanded Etsy Pavilion, now including 40 Etsy artists who primarily sell their work online through the site. The Gourmet Gallery will also grow, providing shoppers with treats from approximately 40 gourmet artists, twice as many as last year’s show.

A portion of all ticket sales from the event will benefit Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital in Downtown Chicago. For tickets or more information, call (800) 677-MART (6278) or visit www.oneofakindshowchicago.com.
